Walking on the Gower Guidebook

This Cicerone walking Guidebook describes 30 circular walks on the Gower peninsula, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in South Wales, covering its rugged coastline, beaches and inland valleys and ridges.

The walks are between 2.5 and 14 miles long across a wide variety of landscapes, from the peninsula's famous spectacularly steep, rugged coastline and golden sandy beaches to its lesser known inland valleys, hills and ridges.

For each walk there is a detailed route description, illustrated with OS mapping extracts and inspiring photography. Also included is a wealth of information on plants, animals, geology, history and archaeology of a region. These walks will provide something for everyone that are all within a compact area easily accessible from Swansea and Mumbles.
