Shropshire Pathfinder Guidebook

This Shropshire Pathfinder Guidebook describes 28 outstanding circular walks that range from 6.2km (4 miles) to 15km (just over 9 miles) in length, giving plenty of choice for everyone.

Shropshire oozes countless opportunities to experience the very essence of England; a tangled web of history, heritage, tradition and culture that is best explored along the tranquil countryside tracks, paths and byways of this most endearing of counties.

The walks in this guide cover Shropshire to the north and west of Birmingham, and up to the edge of the Peak District. Routes vary from woodland walks through the forests of Wyre to the dramatic rocks of Stiperstones. Each of the 28 circular walks are has been created by an experienced walker and graded for difficulty, with notes on the route, as well as key features to look for and background information on the history, wildlife and landscapes. Each walk also includes an extract of the 1: 25 000 scale OS Explorer map for the area, and a detailed description.
