This guidebook describes 55 long and short walks, plus 6 car tours in the Costa Brava region of Spain, including Barcelona.

The Costa Brava translates literally to the ‘rugged coast’, in reference to the rocky, inhospitable nature of much of the shore, runs from the French border southwards towards Barcelona. The guidebook covers an area from Portbou, Colera, the Serra de l’Albera and Port de Llança in the north down to Barcelona in the south.

For each walk there is a detailed route description that is illustrated on map at a scale of 1:50,000, plus a separate fold-out map showing the car tours.
