Walking on Harris and Lewis Guidebook

This Cicerone walking guidebook describes 30 day walks on the island of Harris and Lewis. The walks range from 2 to 14 miles long that vary from short strolls to long wilderness hikes. They combine short, lower-level walks that visit the world-famous heritage sites, to all-day routes in the high hills. Routes included are the An Cliseam horseshoe, the stone circles of Calanais and Butt of Lewis lighthouse.

Harris and Lewis are located in Scotland's Outer Hebrides, and the walking routes take in most of the main summits as well as historical and geographical places of interest on the island.

For each walking route there is a step-by-step description, along with OS mapping and dramatic photographs.
