Slovenia Car Tours and Walks Guidebook

This guidebook describes 75 long and short walks plus 6 car tours in Slovenia and the Julian Alps. This guidebook covers all of Slovenia, except for the very northeast and southeast, with an emphasis on the Julian Alps and Triglav National Park. The walks range from the limestone jagged peaks of the Julian Alps, to the beautiful fertile valleys in the less well known parts of Slovenia.

Each walk is shown on a 1:50,000 scale map along with a detail description. There are 2 fold-out maps showing the car tours that includes a large scale map of the Julian Alps.

Published in May 2019 (5th edition) by Sunflower, and it includes local transport information. This guidebook has been fully revised with 15 additional walks, and with waypoints and GPS tracks available for all the walks.
