Lanzarote is a landscape littered with volcanoes and dark streams of jagged lava. This is the backdrop to nearly every scene on the island, with intriguing sights abound — none more so than the ‘Fire Mountains’. As for walking in Lanzarote, there is no better place in the Canaries for just strolling; ramblers will be in their element here.  The walking routes described in this guidebook take you to a different corner of the Lanzarote, and cover a varying degree of difficulty with many of them circular.

For each walk there is a detailed route description that is illustrated on map at a scale of 1:50,000. There are 2 separate fold-out map showing the car tours, plus there are detailed town maps for Arrecife, Puerto del Carmen, Playa Blanca and Corralejo (Fuerteventura).
