Great Glen Way Guidebook

This is a guidebook describing the Great Glen Way in Scotland that is 77 miles (124km) long. This long distance path starts at Fort William and then follows the Caledonian Canal which links the large lochs along the Great Glen to Inverness. Highlights include Loch Ness with its famous monster legend and Urquhart Castle.

This guidebook splits the entire route into logical stages, with a summary of each stage showing distance, terrain and suitable available accommodation and refreshments. The entire route is shown on maps at a scale of 1:38,000 across 13 pages. Also included is background information on heritage, geology, scenery and wildlife that is found along the Great Glen Way long distance path. Town plans of Fort William and Inverness are also included.
